Children’s Takeover Day 21st November 2014

Today, all around the country children were taking over the jobs of adults. 15 year old Milanda took over the running of The Paradise Zone Youth Centre and planned a team trip to Southbank Winter Wonderland and ran a Sign Lanuage workshop for workers.

Working out costs, travel arrangements, food and activities Milanda worked hard in her role and coped well with the various needs of her colleagues. She led the group successfully said that she learned much from the experience.

Everyone enjoyed the day and Milanda was awarded a certificate from the Children’s Commission.
